Meet Our Staff

Haley Davis is the owner and an instructor at HD Dance Academy. She attended East Central from K-12, started dancing at the age of 3, and danced competitively from age 7-18. At the age of 18, she began her dance teaching career while completing her business degree at The University of Southern Mississippi. This year will be the start of her 14th year teaching dance and 6th year as a dance studio owner. She is thrilled to bring her love of dance to the youth of her hometown.

Jenna Williams is a dance instructor at HDDA and an educator in the Mobile County Public School System. She attended East Central Schools and was on the dance team in high school. She also grew up dancing, assisting, and teaching at Stepping Out Studio in Hurley. She continued teaching dance while completing her Bachelor's degree at The University of South Alabama. This will be her 9th year teaching dance and 4th year with HDDA. She is so excited to continue sharing her love of dance with her students.

Amelia Affolter is a dance instructor at HD Dance Academy. Amelia lives in the EC community with her husband and 2 kids. She graduated from East Central High School where she was a member of the dance team. Amelia has been dancing since she was 3 years old, and this is her 6th year teaching at HD Dance Academy. She is excited about the upcoming year and sharing her love of dance with others. 

Claire Kennedy is the Baton instructor at HDDA and a Behavior Analyst. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at The University of Mississippi and her Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from The University of West Florida. Claire twirled competitively with The Twirling Company for 10 years, where she received the title of Miss Majorette of Mississippi for 2 years in a row. She hopes to share her love of baton with her hometown, while promoting growth and resurgence of the sport throughout the Hurley community.
